About Richard Small Photography

I'm Richard, an amateur photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I have been fascinated by cameras and photography since childhood, but I only started to take it more seriously in the last ten years. While landscapes hold my main interest, I'm enthusiastic about all types of photography. I love the curious blend of technology and art. The fulfillment found in learning about light, composition, story and moment. The challenge of finding the scene or engaging the person, and capturing the shot with the camera. Then reviewing, processing and sharing the final image. Better still, to see it printed. Photography is both fun and satisfying!
